Birth Doula

~Through soul-searching
and listening more and more deeply
to the women I was working with,
I finally understood that women
have to prepare for birth
in their heart and soul,
not in their head.
And that giving birth is something a woman does
in her body,
not in her head.

Offerings

Birth is a profoundly transformational and intimate experience. It is not only the birth of a child, but the birth of a mother and family unit. I offer 12 hours of in-person birth support in whatever setting, home, hospital, birth center, or wherever you decide to give birth.

  • This offering provides focused support for second-time birthing people or parents who prefer a more a la carte approach—covering the essentials to feel prepared, supported, and confident during birth, with postpartum guidance in the early days with your baby.

    Initial Consultation

We connect to discuss your birth vision, values, and how I can walk beside you as a trusted member of your birth team. This is an opportunity to share your hopes for birth and explore how I can best support your journey.

    Two 1:1 Prenatal Sessions

Our prenatal time together focuses on preparing your body, mind, and spirit for birth.

    Sessions may include:
    • Birthing from Within mentoring
    • Labor preparation in the form of movement or bodywork
    • Emotional support and nervous system care
    • Birth planning, advocacy education, and postpartum preparation

    Labor Support

Support begins when labor starts with virtual guidance in early labor.

Once active labor begins, I join you in person and provide up to 12 hours of continuous labor support, offering grounding presence, comfort techniques, emotional reassurance, and advocacy as you navigate the unfolding of birth.

    Labor Nutrition

As an Ayurvedic doula, I provide energizing and nourishing snacks and hydration like homemade ginger lemonade and ghee soaked dates.

She educated my husband and I so I felt educated and empowered to advocate for myself and my birth plan. We practiced techniques that were essential to maintaining the labor and delivery process I desired. She was such a huge part of my labor and deliver, I am so grateful she was there!
